#28 Zeder 1983
Almost more of a mystery than a zombie movie. Although there are a couple of zombies near the end.
After finding odd writings on an old typewriter ribbon an author searches for the typewriter's previous owner. It turns out to be an ex-priest who believes he will come back from the dead if buried in certain locations.
Lesson learned: If your wife is killed, and you know of a special plot of land that brings people back as zombies that kill anyone around, then do not, I repeat do not bury her there in order to bring her back. Zombies kill people.

Would you count Pet semetary as a zombie movie?
No I would not. But some people would. So I have to watch it, again.
I think it is - why not? Bury a dead person and they come back to life, but EVEEL!
I had to create a blank blog just to write that comment.
I hate to point this out, I really do, but if you are counting Pet Sematary, you should not neglect its fine sequel, Pet Sematary Two. And in case you might be inclined to hedge on this matter, please note the plot description from imdb.com: "The zombie-raising cemetary is back to its old tricks, this time with new inhabitants."
And now a joke:
Q: Do zombies eat popcorn with their fingers?
...................................................
A: No. They eat the fingers separately.
Remember how we considered Gage as a boy's name when Spencer was born but rejected it because of this movie?
And Schrodinger - I think possibly it's more a cautionary tale about keeping your pets indoors (especially when you live 50 feet from a road that's busy with speeding semi trucks)!
nah, Pet Semetary is totally Stephen King's cautionary tale to parents not to use cocaine and be a bad guardian. Cause he totally was high for a lot of the early 80s.
